Please join Seattle’s Urban Bird Treaty City coalition as they celebrate the signing of an Urban Bird Treaty between the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the City of Seattle, with participation from partners at Audubon Washington, Seattle Audubon, Heron Habitat Helpers, and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife.
Urban Bird Treaty is a program of the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Cities pledge to work with local partners to conserve migratory birds through habitat conservation, reducing hazards to birds, promoting citizen science, and engaging in outreach and education in urban and suburban areas.
The playground is newly remodeled around a bird and nature theme.
