A vital investigation of the economic and environmental instability of America’s food system, from the agricultural issues we face — soil loss, water depletion, climate change, pesticide use — to the community of leaders who are determined to fix it. "Sustainable" is a film about the land, the people who work it and what must be done to sustain it for future generations.

Please join Meaningful Movies : Sustainable Ballard for a screening of “Sustainable".  We invite you to arrive early to enjoy Happy Hour pricing of 25% off all items on Royal Drummer’s regular menu, and we invite you to stay after the film to hear from Dr. David Montgomery. Dr. Montgomery is a MacArthur Fellow and professor of geomorphology at the University of Washington. He is an internationally recognized geologist who studies landscape evolution and the effects of geological processes on ecological systems and human societies.
