From the President

Thanks to all who supported putting a Parks and Open Spaces Levy on the fall ballot - we did it! (see the City Council press release and the full list of levy projects. Now work is starting to build the campaign and pass this important measure to continue funding to balance growth and green in the Emerald City.

Stay tuned for more on the campaign. In the meantime, we plan to have info about the levy renewal effort at our Sundaes on Sunday event on August 17 (see below) at our new "7th Heaven" site, which is slated for $800K for development. We're also teaming up with folks working on the Crown Hill Park, slated for $1.2M in development funds, to distribute information at a community event at the Holman Rd.
