From the President

Dear Friends,
It's been an eventful year for Groundswell: the Mayor's announcement of the 7th Elect Church site purchase in March, the Salmon Bay Natural Area dedication in June, the City's purchase of the Crown Hill and Webster School open spaces, passage of the Parks levy, development of the Walkable Crown Hill plan, completion of the first phase of Ballard Corners construction and the initial improvements to 14th Ave NW.

Your support is critical to all of these successful projects. Please consider continuing that support with a year-end tax-deductible donation to Groundswell NW. Your contributions will help us continue to advocate for community parks and habitat in northwest Seattle and support great projects like Ballard Corners, which is raising money to complete Phase 2 in 2009.
Thanks again for helping make 2008 a great year for Groundswell!
Dave Boyd
