EBCA and Groundswell invite all to celebrate the grand opening of Gemenskap Park! The idea of greening 14th Ave NW was put forward in Groundswell’s 1998 North Salmon Bay Community Forest Plan. 13 years ago, EBCA developed the concept in a vision for park blocks all the way from NW 65th St. to Salmon Bay. Building these first two blocks has been a major undertaking, deserving of a grand celebration.
