Together with City partners and the Ballard Alliance, the office of planning and community development has developed proposed Ballard Neighborhood Design Guidelines. These neighborhood guidelines supplement the Citywide Design Guidelines. They respond to community direction recorded in the Ballard Urban Design and Transportation Framework.

The Ballard Neighborhood Design Guidelines complement the rezones and code amendments that City Council Adopted in September 2016.
