Seattle Parks and Recreation is expanding Baker Park at Crown Hill!  The Seattle Park District will provide $937,125 for planning, design and construction.

You can also help by joining Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Planner, Project Manager and Senior Landscape Architect onsite at Baker Park to provide ideas about this exciting new park development. At the Open House the community is invited to review design elements and provide input on what will work best for your community. We will have a tent at the park, light refreshments and activities for children. All are encouraged to attend and participate in design.

Thanks to Groundswell NW and the Whittier Heights community for being instrumental in the acquisition of this site. With the community support, Seattle Parks and Recreation purchased the property in 2013 to provide additional open space for the Crown Hill community.
