Modified Work Party at Ballard Corners Park (17th Ave NW & NW 63rd St)

It's been over a year since we've had a work party at the park, and it's time to give it some love. If you've got some time to spare on Saturday, April 3, please stop by to lend a hand. Because of COVID, masks and physical distancing will be required. Also, sad to say, we will not have snacks or water to share. Nor will we have tools or gloves available to borrow. Please come prepared with whatever tools and sustenance you need.

The focus of the day will be on weeding and spreading wood chip mulch. If you have them, please bring: gloves, a wheelbarrow, a pitchfork, a weeding tool, a pair of pruners, a bucket (or another container) for collecting clean green material, and a broom.

These are not ideal circumstances for working, but it will be good to be outside and in the community.
